Welcome to the website for the JISC DiSCmap project.

Introduction

DiSCmap (Digitisation in Special Collections: mapping, assessment, prioritisation) was a project funded under the JISC Digitisation Programme which sought to inventory holdings of Special Collections throughout UK higher education and prioritise them for future digitisation.

The project ran from 1 Sep 2008 to 5 Jun 2009.

DiSCmap was funded under the JISC Digitisation Programme.

The project was led by the Centre for Digital Library Research (CDLR) at the University of Strathclyde, in collaboration with the Centre for Research in Library and Information Management (CERLIM), Manchester Metropolitan University.
